Greetings fellow aquatic keepers. Welcome to my website, my ponds, my fish and my filtration. about myself I came into the hobby of pondkeeping around late 2003. I was at that time clueless about keeping fish. However with the help of the internet, and the various websites I came across, I quickly learnt the right ways and the wrong ways of keeping a pond. Aspects of my learning encompassed designs of ponds, associated filtration, the biology of the pond and its filters, the fish, the medical side of treating fish and so much more. As I learnt, I came across a myriad of terms that I had not come across before. Over time I learnt about these terms and what they meant. Some aspects also included a touch of science when it came to understanding the biology of the pond. It is important to note, that as a beginner, you must be patient with yourself when it comes to learning all there is to know. Your knowledge will be rewarded when you have finally come to point you understand all that there is to learn. Sharing from experience I would not consider myself a guru or an expert in pondkeeping, however I am an individual who has learnt from experience from the vast knowledge of pondkeepers, and from the experience I have gathered myself. I am here to share with you my thoughts on these experiences. Currently I am the keeper of three ponds, and one aquarium. The fish I keep include kois of many sizes, as well as a variety of goldfish.
